Research:

·        Research Methods:- These are the strategies, processes, or techniques used to collect data or evidence for analysis. Examples include surveys, experiments, and literature reviews. 

·        Types of Research:- Research can be broadly categorized into quantitative and qualitative research, each with its own methods and goals. Quantitative research focuses on numerical data and statistical analysis, while qualitative research focuses on in-depth understanding of subjective experiences.

·        Examples:- Market research, academic research, and intelligence gathering (as with the Research and Analysis Wing) are all examples of research. 

Analysis 

·        Defining Analysis:- Analysis involves breaking down a topic or concept into its parts to understand it better, often with the goal of restructuring those parts in a way that makes sense. 

·        Data Analysis:- Data analysis is the process of systematically collecting, cleaning, transforming, describing, modeling, and interpreting data, often using statistical techniques. 

·        Purpose of Analysis:- Analysis allows researchers to understand gathered information, test hypotheses, and draw conclusions. 

·        Analytical Techniques:- These can include descriptive statistics, inferential statistics, and various methods for interpreting patterns and trends within data. 

·        Examples:- Analyzing market trends, financial data, or social science data are all examples of analysis.
